The team at Hermès commissioned me to create a scroll-stopping animation for their Instagram page that would capture people's attention. They asked me to mix any Hermès visuals and icons that I liked with my own artistic style, so I was given a huge amount of creative freedom as well as some iconic designs to draw from.
Using the leather punched H from the brand's Evelyne bag as a starting point, I designed an animation that transformed the H into different images before looping back round to the H again.

Process:
Each frame of the animation is a layer of paper. I first created the animation digitally, then cut each frame out using my Silhouette machine and scanned these back in.
